CASA of North Texas provides court appointed special advocates to represent the best interests of abused and neglected children in the foster care system.  The volunteer advocate remains on the case they are appointed to until each child has a safe, loving, and permanent home.  Since our inception 25 years ago, CASA of North Texas has been able to maintain our pledge that 100% of the Cooke County children in foster care would have an advocate assigned to them.  We stand beside these unfortunate families and focus our assistance on the children.  On behalf of those kids, our advocates offer a voice of balance and concern in the court system, at schools, at their placement homes, with medical professionals, and with any other parties that are involved in that child's life. 

Cowboys for CASA is our primary fundraiser for the year.  It is an annual event that our community looks forward to and almost always sells out.  It is such a fun night that includes dinner, entertainment, dancing, and a live & silent auction.  Sponsorship opportunities are available.  We rely on contributions and donated auction items to help raise funds to continue providing the services for the children we serve.
