 Re:  Post 246 2024 Annual Crab Feed Dinner & Fundraiser, January 27, 2024

Hello,

The American Legion Post 246 has proudly served the Danville community since 1921.  We actively conduct or participate in many national programs of The American Legion while staying focused on local veterans, families, youth, and community.  We also support local events associated with the Veterans Memorial Building of the San Ramon Valley.  

Our programs include Boys & Girls State and Girls State government educational programs; High School Constitutional Oratorical Contest; Scout Troop and Pack sponsorships; Camp Parks Military Families support; High School Graduate Swearing-In Ceremony host; Wreaths Across America at Alamo Cemetery host; and outreach to local community college student-veteran groups.

We are again holding our annual, in-person Crab Feed Dinner and Fundraiser with a raffle and live auction at the dinner and an online auction during the week leading to and culminating with the dinner event on January 27, 2024.  All the monies raised are spent in our community, for our community, and that is why we again ask for your generous contribution of gift certificates and/or goods and services that we can use as auction and/or raffle items to raise the funds to support our programs.  

Sponsoring our event is another great way to support our programs while gaining additional visibility for your business, club, or group to the community.  We are making four levels of sponsorships available:

GOLD ($1000) – Legion Crossed-Flags Eagle Plaque, 2 bottles of Rombauer Chardonnay wine, 4 Mt Diablo Post 246 Ball Caps or 4 American flags, 2 tickets to our live Crab Feed dinner, Gold level sponsorship recognition as outlined in the Blue level.

RED ($500) – Legion Shooting Star Eagle Flag Plaque, 1 bottle of Rombauer Chardonnay wine, 2 Mt. Diablo Post 246 Ball Caps or 2 American Flags, Red level sponsorship recognition as outlined in the Blue level.

WHITE ($250) - 2 Mt. Diablo Post 246 Ball Caps or 2 American flags, White level sponsorship recognition as outlined in the Blue level.

BLUE ($100) – American Legion Challenge Coin, sponsorship recognition on our post website, on the auction website, and on all event flyers (including posting in the Danville Chamber of Commerce weekly newsletter).

We would appreciate your earliest donation and/or sponsorship commitment prior to December 15, 2023, so we can provide maximum visibility of both your donation & business organization.
