Assistance League of Nashville provides school uniforms to underserved and homeless elementary school children in Metro Nashville Public Schools.  School counselors send us the sizes, genders and first names of children who need clothing. School uniforms are mandatory in most public elementary schools here, and many families can't afford them.  Our goal is to keep children in the classroom by having the appropriate attire. This event will be a beautiful luncheon with a lovely silent auction and an author-speaker, plus a counselor-speaker, music and hors d'oeuvres passed in the auction room.
