Dear Six Flags,

I am writing on behalf of the Hickory Grove Elementary School PTO to request a donation for our 2024 Fun Run and Silent Auction. We are raising money for the construction of our Nature Explore certified Outdoor Learning Center. The Fun Run will be held on Friday, April 19th, 2024 at our school and the silent auction will be going all week leading up to the Fun Run.

There are many different ways in which you can contribute. We are looking for sponsorships for the Fun Run, prize donations for our online auction and grant money to go directly to our Outdoor Learning Center. We expect hundreds of adults and families to participate, which will get your business a lot of exposure.  

Our Outdoor Learning Center officially broke ground in 2021. Thanks to generous donations from businesses like yours, we’ve been able to plant raised gardens and trees, and build two large berms that we seeded and landscaped. We have also upgraded the creek bed, built tables and chairs and worked on our retaining wall. Last year, we installed a sign and poured concrete for our messy materials area and science lab. We would like to break ground on the amphitheater next, but we need to raise another $75,000.  This project is totally being funded by the PTO and fundraisers like this.

We would love if Six Flags could donate a family 4 pack of tickets to your amusement park for our online auction. These passes are always a big hit and they raise a lot of  money for us.

Should you make a donation, your business will be recognized on all communications involving this       event which will include Facebook, Newsletter, Website, etc.  We will also provide a donation receipt letter with the PTO’s tax exempt ID number for your records.
