Illini Service Dogs puts on a Pet-A-Pup event outside during the yearly Mom's Weekend at UIUC in April. During the UIUC Mom's Weekend Pet-A-Pup event, the public can meet, pet, and interact with our service dogs in training when they donate (no donation minimum or maximum) to the organization. Illini Service Dogs use this time to educate the public on our organization, mobility service dogs, and disability culture and rights. We will sell raffles tickets ($10 dollars) to win a basket of goodies of Illini (such as t-shirts, blanket, coffee mugs, etc.) and other fun items or experiences during the UIUC Mom's Weekend Pet-A-Pup event on Sunday April 14th, 2024. We will randomly choose a ticket, announce the winner, and deliver the basket the next day on Monday, April 15th, 2024. Illini Service Dogs continue to run completely on fundraising donations and our dedicated volunteers who make it possible to provide our dogs to their partner free of cost. All proceeds raised from the Pet-A-Pup event and raffle ticket sells will go directly to our organization.
