Description

The Jazz Cafe and Silent Auction is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Wakefield Band Patrons — a non-profit, parent-led support group for the Wakefield High School Band (IRS#47-2529058). The money raised is used for clinicians, new instruments, instrument maintenance, competition travel costs and scholarships for student music camps.

The show features a jazz club atmosphere in a unique performance venue. Hors d’oeuvres and gourmet desserts are included in the ticket price.

Wakefield is a highly diverse Arlington, Virginia, school with a vibrant music program. In addition to the Symphonic and Concert bands, the program also includes a Marching Band, Jazz Ensemble and a Percussion Ensemble.
