The Lancer Athletics Association (LAA) was created in 2009 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to improving the financial support for the 21 varsity athletic programs and more than 500 student-athletes at California Baptist University. As of August 1st, 2022, CBU is officially Division 1 across all sports and will continue to compete at the highest levels across collegiate sports. While in the NAIA and Division II, CBU has captured 29 National Championships and has a long-standing tradition of being a leading institution in the Riverside Community. Looking to the future, we are hosting CBU Athletics Annual Lancer Golf Classic. On April 3rd, 2023, at Tukwet Canyon in Beaumont, California. All proceeds from the Lancer Golf Classic will directly support the financial needs of CBU student-athletes in the form of scholarships, equipment, facility renovations and, travel expenses.

In addition to supporting the student-athletes at CBU, we also put on dozens of free camps and seminars for kids and teens in the Inland Empire Community.  Every sport has camps for kids, and we are proud to say that we hosted free events for over 3,000 kids last year.  We also are a pillar in the Riverside community, providing street-fair style pre-game parties and many other themed nights for people who live in the IE.
