Every year The Ontario Elks Lodge hosts an annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Night to honor the Officer of the Year from 9 departments in our area. We have a steak dinner, that is of no charge to the Officers of the Year. We raffle off prizes to the attendees as another example of our communities appreciation for their service, and collect donations to raffle off during the event to these brave men and women. The Officers of the Year, their fellow Officers, Captains, Detectives, and family members all participate, so we try to also collect family friendly raffle prizes, as most of these Officers have families.
