Description

On behalf of Fred Wells Tennis and Education Center (FWTEC), we invite you to lend your support to our 2024 Pro-Am Tournament & Fundraiser by donating an item for our silent auction. The Pro-Am will be held on May 4, 2024 and will be an exciting night of competitive tennis, complete with a cocktail hour, a buffet dinner, a giving moment, and both online and in-person silent auctions. Your generous donation will not only help us to continue supporting our TennisWorks programs, but it will also give your business exposure to our community of over 4,000 patrons and the 250+ attendees of the Pro-Am.

Fred Wells Tennis and Education Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in the Twin Cities. We use the sport of tennis to build a sense of community among individuals of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. We provide free TennisWorks youth development programming to more than 1,400 youth annually with an intentional focus on engaging youth with limited access to resources and exposure to the sport.

Our sports-based youth development TennisWorks program serves students in grades 3-12. Young people learn and participate in tennis, academic enrichment, leadership, and service opportunities focusing on life skills and community building. In 2023, this program provided access to over 1,400 unique players, including 800 new participants, with free programming and transportation. The generosity of individual donors, grant funders, and corporate and community partners makes it possible to offer students over 44 weeks of TennisWorks programming at no cost!

Your tax-deductible donation will make an immediate impact as we head into the TennisWorks Academy summer camp season and ensure that participation in high-quality youth programming and tennis is based on a desire to play and not an ability to pay. Learn more about our TennisWorks programs!
