We are having a Building Fundraiser Gala. St. Joseph's is located in Crosby, MN, that receives many visitors for our world class mountain bike trails, and cabin dwellers coming for lake adventures. Our current facility is unable to meet our needs, so we have embarked on a capital campaign to build a new facility. Unfortunately, building costs and inflation has pushed the cost to build higher than anticipated. So, we are finding creative ways to raise funds to supplement the capital campaign so we can continue the mission of our Lord.

Our church does much outreach to the community, through Monday night's Community Meal for those in need of food/conversation, Men of St. Joseph who help people in the community with needs around their homes, Sleeping Bag Ministry that turns blankets/sheets into sleeping bags for the economically challenged and marginalized men and women in Minneapolis, supporting our Duluth Pastoral Center and other ministries to the parish and community.

Last year, we held our first gala, which was a brilliantly fun evening featuring Matt Burk (former NFL player) and games/auctions. It was such a great success, we are doing it again on May 10, 2024 at the NP Center. Most exciting, our keynote speaker this year will be Fr. Mike Schmitz, who is nationally known for his #1 podcasts including the Bible in a Year and Catechism in a Year. Look Fr. Mike up on YouTube, and you'll understand our excitement!
