The Temple Shalom Brotherhood will proudly present the 2024 Shalom Award to one of our founding members, Mr. Bob Weinfeld on January 21, 2024. We will honor this man who is beloved by the community for his life of service, and respected by all whose lives he has touched. The event will include a seated dinner, an award presentation with many speakers from Bob's life and the community, and an online auction. We are anticipating over 300 guests in person for the dinner with an additional 700 individuals viewing the auction and event website.

The event will benefit Jewish Family Service of Greater Dallas (JFS) and Community Homes for Adults, Inc. (CHAI) in addition to helping the Brotherhood with our support of Temple Shalom, especially youth programming. Jewish Family Service of Greater Dallas is a nonsectarian mental health and social services agency that has always welcomed anyone through their doors regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, or the ability to pay. CHAI was founded in 1983 to enable adults with intellectual disabilities to live full, rich, safe lives while meaningfully participating in the community.
