The Snowflakes & Diamonds Gala, held in January each year, is the biggest fundraiser the Red River Valley Down Syndrome Society & REACH Center has each year.  It is an evening of fundraisinng and awareness for the organization and fun for the community while bringing to light the capabilities of individuals with disabilities.  The events title represents the fact that each and every person, with or without a disability, is beautiful and unique, just like a snowflake & diamond.

The nights event includes dinner, music, live and silent auction, and an awareness presentation.  All funds from the event go to support the organizations mission to: improve the lives of individuals with disabilities through support, education, advocacy, and awareness.  Programs and services are provided through the REACH Center and consists of: all day care for individucals with disabiliteis aged 3-5, after school care for 5 and up.  All students attend all day, when school is out.
