The ASTRO Foundation, (Animal Shelter to Riverbank and Oakdale), founded in 2012, is a 501c3 non-profit corporation         (Tax ID 46-0873232) whose mission is to save the lives of homeless cats and dogs in the local area.   

In early 2022, we proudly opened a Pet Adoption Center at 157 N. Fifth Ave. in downtown Oakdale, the first of its kind for our community! ASTRO Foundation, a volunteer based organization, rescues approximately 700 homeless animals annually. 

As you can imagine, animal rescue is an expensive endeavor.  Consider the cost of food, housing, spay/neuter, veterinary services, medications, vaccinations, cleaning supplies, insurance, etc.  We rely on the generosity of our community and businesses such as yours to continue our life-saving work.

We are kindly asking for your support in the form of a raffle/auction donation for our upcoming fundraiser, Spring Fling Champagne Brunch, to be held at the Del Rio Golf & Country Club on May 19, 2024.   We anticipate approximately 250 guests at our event.  Your generosity will be recognized at our event. 

We realize you receive many requests and appreciate your donation, as fundraising is critical to continue finding forever homes for the homeless pets of our community.
