Dear Friends of Children,

Northcoast Children’s Services has been at the heart of children’s programs in Humboldt and Del Norte counties for over 50 years.  NCS provides services to 800 low income families with children from pregnancy to age 5 each year through our Early Head Start, Head Start and State Preschool programs. Partnering with parents and the community, NCS strives to give the most vulnerable children a Head Start in life by offering comprehensive child development, health, and family services in 23 locations throughout the two counties.  

The staff and parents of Northcoast Children’s Services are organizing our Spring 2024 Raffle.  Our raffle drawing will be May 2, 2024.  Over 200 staff and 800 parents participate in this event throughout Humboldt & Del Norte Counties.

This past year our children and families faced many challenges.  We are raising funds to provide learning materials for our classrooms, as well as providing emergency services for the low income families of young children enrolled in our programs.  The success of this fundraising effort once again depends on the generosity of our local business community.
