The East Side Elementary Foundation hosts a silent teacher auction during our Fall Festival, which is an event where staff and teachers donate experiences that families can bid on (e.g., escape rooms, a picnic at the park, bedtime stories, etc.). Not only does this generate money for the school, but it is also a special opportunity for teachers and students to spend quality time together. Businesses, airlines, hotels – among others – donate items for the silent auction, which makes the event even more successful.
