Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope by helping partners achieve their goals of owning a home and helping those who own a home to preserve and repair it. Our vision is a world where everyone has an affordable, safe place to live. Our Home Buying, Home Preservation, and Neighborhood Revitalization Programs move us toward this vision in Greene County. Our homebuying program provides a unique opportunity for families or individuals to build or renovate and buy a home to be their own through a 0% interest, 0% APR loan. We don’t just put people in homes. We also keep people in homes by partnering with homeowners to alleviate critical health and safety issues by completing needed home improvement projects. And we improve the quality of life in local neighborhoods through housing, beautification, building community, and health and safety.
