The Valentine Run/Walk, Race for Justice, is in its 21st year! Over the years, it has become a classic event for individuals, families, and teams of all ages and abilities. The Valentine Run/Walk is kid-friendly, stroller-friendly, and canine-companion friendly! There is a 4-mile timed and 1.8-mile untimed walk or run and kids' races.

Participants are encouraged to wear their hearts on their sleeves, socks, tutus, onesies, and collars to compete for best-dressed awards and to show their love of the Valentine Run/Walk. An expo area is set up for sponsors to give out snacks and giveaways, with an award ceremony after the main event.

 This event benefits Legal Services of Northern California which provides free legal aid to low-income, disabled and senior citizens throughout northern California.
