The Women’s League of Reading, founded in 1950, is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization that sponsors fundraisers to support worthy causes in Reading and the local area. All funds raised by the Women’s League of Reading are disbursed annually among community groups, organizations and families in need. Over the past five years, the Women’s League has disbursed over $100,000 to many local organizations including the Reading Public Schools, the Food Pantry, Elder Services, local hospitals, the police department, the fire department, a variety of community programs, and families in need.

Our annual Gala, to be held on March 9, 2024, is our primary fundraiser.  The evening includes food, dancing, a silent auction, and a raffle.  This year we have added an entertainment element and are hosting a masquerade mystery dinner.  This is a popular event bringing together over 100 residents of Reading and the surrounding area each year.  Our event thrives with the donations from generous businesses like yours.
