Description

We are excited to announce that our 2024 Ladies Garden Party will be held on May 23rd at the Wyckoff Family YMCA.  We will come together as the "Ladies of teh Y" to celebrate our legacy.  For over 75 years the Wyckoff Family YMCA has worked tirelessly with our community partners to keep our residents on track and to address their health and well-being needs.  Our goal has always been and will continue to be a resource to individuals and thier personal journey.

With the support of our members and donors, The Y's Charitable Fund, Wyckoff Y Cares has assisted hundreds of local families.  We are very proud of the fact that everyone who has reached out to us for help, has been helped in some way.  This fund offers financial assistance, subsidizes programs for Veterans, Seniors, and Participants with special needs, and makes our Y programs and services available to those who are unable to afford them.  EVERY dollar raised at the Ladies Garden party goes directly to those in need.

In 2023, becuase of your support and the support of so many, the Y was able to:

  • Address the needs of 180 families who were facing critical illness, unemployment, or a debilitating loss, thus providing stability and much need support.
  • Provide a community of support which provides engaging classes in fitness, swim, tennis, voice and piano and so much more to over 200 children and adults with Autism, Down syndrome, and other developmental disabilities who attend the Y's Special Needs Programs.  The Programs provided them with a safe environment where they can become more independent, acquire social skills, and stay physically and mentally fit.
  • Provide life-altering opportunities for cancer survivors at no personal cost through the Y's Live Well Cancer Survivor Program.
  • Respond to the Veteran and isolated older adults within our communities with financial, emotional and hopeful means and support, so that they may reconnect with others in their community and gain more meaningful lives.

We are hopeful you can support us with a donation.  All donors will be recognized in our evening program and on the Y website.

Thank you for your consideration, your support, and your continued belief in our Mission!
