The Batizado is a special annual event where new members are officially “baptized” into our group and receive their first corda, while continuing members earn new ones based on their progress. Scheduled for May 1-4, 2025, in Herndon, VA, and Rockville, MD, this four-day celebration is anticipated to attract 200-300 participants through workshops, rodas (game circles), and the Batizado ceremony. Instead of charging an admission fee, we conduct a canned food drive to support local food banks.
