We are Great Hearts Live Oak, a classical, liberal arts non-profit public charter school serving over 1,100 students in grades kindergarten through eleventh grade in Live Oak, Texas  - next year we are excited to have our very first graduating (12th grade) class. We exist to cultivate the heart and minds of our students through the pursuit of Truth, Goodness and Beauty. Students will grow as friends and citizens within a joyful and ordered culture that honors their humanity while developing the habits of mind and heart that will lead to personal, professional, and civic virtue. As a non-profit school, we receive an average of $1,278 less than our local ISDs in per pupil funding and depend on additional funding to minimize that gap. This is our fifth year as a school, and we will be celebrating with a GALA fundraiser on February 8, 2025.

On February 8, 2025, we will host our very first GALA to celebrate this great accomplishment!  We are working hard to raise at least $15,000 from sponsors and donors to help with our GALA and to assist with the daily operational needs of our school for our students, faculty, and staff.
