Description

The mission of the Community Development Center is to provide supports and services to children, families and individuals with disabilities while addressing the health and well-being of all persons in the communities in which we serve. Donations will serve as a Silent Auction item available for bidding during the 27th Annual Helping Hands Golf Classic, the primary fundraising event for the Marshall County Child Development Center and Children's Center for Autism. The Child Development Center (CDC), a program of the Community Development Center, is dedicated to providing quality early intervention services to families of young children with developmental delay or a disability. To be eligible for the CDC, children must be under the age of three years. Once enrolled, services may continue to be provided until the school year begins after a child's fifth birthday. The early intervention program operates year-round without costs to families. The primary service area includes: Bedford, Coffee, Franklin, Giles, Lawrence, Lewis, Lincoln, Marshall, Maury, Moore, and Wayne Counties of Middle Tennessee. CDC services are provided under the Tennessee Early Intervention System (TEIS). The Children's Center for Autism (CCA) is an intensive behavioral therapy program providing both individual and group therapy for children ages 18 months to 12 years old who have been diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). CCA is located in Lewisburg, TN in the Child Development Center, Shelbyville, TN in the Child Development Center, and Fayetteville, TN in the Child Development Center. We encourage you to learn more by visiting our website: www.cdctn.org. Thank you again for your time and consideration!
