2025 National Leukemia Ball
Gala/Party for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Inc.Mar 29, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Despite significant improvements in survival rates for many blood cancers, every three minutes, someone is diagnosed with the disease and every nine minutes, someone loses their battle to it. An average of 184,720 new cases of blood cancer are estimated to be diagnosed in the US this year alone. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families. You can make our mission possible by supporting one of our signature events: The Leukemia Ball.
The 2025 National Leukemia Ball will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at The Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. As LLS' largest black-tie gala, the Leukemia Ball has raised over $74 million for blood cancer patients and their families since its inception in 1988. This one-of-a-kind event features dinner, dancing, an impactful Mission Moment, star-studded entertainment (in 2025- Nick Kroll!), and a fabulous live/silent auction. Each year, we are fortunate to have generous businesses and individuals donate items to be featured in our auction, allowing all proceeds to go directly to LLS’ research, patient support and advocacy efforts. With these lifesaving funds, LLS will support the most groundbreaking research taking place across the globe.
Since 2017, LLS has contributed to over 70% of the blood cancer treatments approved by the FDA- including the very recent FDA-approved treatment for T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) which is most common in children.
Your gift truly makes a difference. LLS could not sustain and accelerate our quest for a cure without your support. We look forward to partnering with you, and thank you for your consideration!
