2025 Spring Into the Arts Fundraiser for E.M. Stanton Public Elementary School
Gala/Party for Stanton Community PartnersMar 23, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM

The education-based non-profit Stanton Community Partners (SCP) is hosting its annual Spring into the Arts Fundraising Event (Online Silent Auction and Adult Reception) to showcase and benefit the students and community of E.M. Stanton Elementary School in Philadelphia, PA.
Edwin M. Stanton Elementary School, located in the Graduate Hospital neighborhood of Philadelphia and serving students there and from Point Breeze, has a rich history dating to 1925 when it was built and named after Abraham Lincoln’s Secretary of War during the Civil War. Stanton has over 300 students enrolled from pre-kindergarten to eighth grade, and it is committed to the academic, creative, and civic success of its students, goals bolstered through strong parental involvement and community partnerships that work to fill the gaps left by insufficient public school funding.
This event is a silent auction and celebration for the amazing talent and tenacity of this small Philadelphia public school that serves a population of mostly disadvantaged students from Graduate Hospital and Point Breeze neighborhoods. Stanton's guiding principle for educating is "Arts + Academics = Excellence'', and it is able to align its programming priorities with this mission by offering a myriad of arts, music, dance, and STEAM opportunities to its PreK-8 students through the tireless, generous, all-volunteer support of our organization and partners. Through sponsorships, donated auction items, and in-kind donations, SCP has been able to fund tens of thousands of dollars' worth of enrichment programming for Stanton at the request and direction of its students, families, and staff. Some partnerships include the Clay Studio, Spanish Exploradoras, and Dancing Classrooms Philly. We typically see 150-200 attendees at this in-person event, with an additional 50-100 participating virtually through the online auction platform and promote our event through our social media networks which attract several thousand followers . At the front and center of the event is a showcasing of student and community-made art and local small businesses.
