Celebrate 20 Years of Community and Canine Companionship at Cardiff Dog Days of Summer!

On Sunday, August 3, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the Encinitas Community Park will transform into a vibrant hub for dog lovers and community members alike as Cardiff 101 Main Street and the City of Encinitas host the 20th Anniversary of the Cardiff Dog Days of Summer. This beloved free event, sponsored by Kahoots, draws thousands of attendees each year, celebrating the unique bond between humans and their canine companions.

Event Highlights:

• Rescue Row: Presented by the Rancho Coastal Humane Society, this area features numerous rescue groups and pet adoption agencies. All proceeds support the society's mission to rescue, shelter, and find homes for companion animals while promoting humane ideals through education and community outreach. 
• Dog Contests: From "Cutest Puppy" to "Best Dressed," dogs can compete in various contests, with first-place winners receiving goodie baskets filled with dog food, treats, toys, and more. Registration begins at 9:00 AM on the day of the event.
• Live Entertainment: Enjoy live music throughout the day, adding a festive atmosphere to the event.
• Libation Lounge: A ticketed 21+up-only area featuring beverages from The Lost Abbey, Kove, and Local Roots, providing a relaxing spot for attendees to unwind.
• Food Trucks and Vendors: A variety of food trucks and over 100 dog-related vendors will be on-site, offering products and services for pets and their owners.
