This is a landmark year for Olivia's House: A Grief and Loss Center for Children as we celebrate twenty years of our mission's work, healing and impacting the lives of children grieving the loss of a loved one.

When families enter our peer-support programs, they learn it is entitled "Hearts CAN Heal". It's not hearts WILL heal, for we don't make the promise that in eight weeks our families will magically be healed. Hearts CAN heal if, and only if, they do the hard work. The success of our mission is evidence of that hard work and the faith our families have put in us. Likewise, it is the efforts of our generous community that have supported us over the twenty years, and will enable us to continue to do so for as long as there is a need to help heal grieving hearts.

Olivia's House will be hosting its 20th Anniversary Olivian Gala on Saturday, September 24th where we will honor Leslie, our Founder and Bereavement Specialist, for her vision that no child need ever struggle alone in their grief! This formal affair at the Country Club of York, will feature a decadent dinner, open bar, live music, and outstanding auction items as we reunite in celebration of the children we serve, and the support that has brought us to this milestone year!
