Description

Margarita Mixoff & More is our annual fundraising event where local restaurants prepare specialty margarita samples in a friendly competition to win the title of the “Best in the West” Margarita, which is selected by attendees in the "People's Choice" voting.  This has become a very popular community event!

We are also inviting a couple of beer and wine vendors and a variety of food vendors to round out the margarita participants for the event.

The proceeds from our fundraiser will support our Soroptimist Dream Programs and our Service Awards Program. The Soroptimist Live Your Dream: Education & Training Awards for Women provides cash grants for head-of-household women seeking to improve their lives with the help of education or training. The Dream It Be It: Career Support for Girls provides girls with tangible strategies to accomplish their career goals. Both Dream programs assist women and girls by empowering them through education. Our Service Awards provide cash grants to local charities with programs that support and benefit women and girls in areas of health, job skills training, domestic violence prevention, and the prevention of human trafficking.

Soroptimist is a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment, enabling them to take control of their lives and live their dreams
