As I write this letter, Pink Ribbon Softball, Inc. is beginning our planning stages of the 20th Annual PINK Breast Cancer Awareness Softball Tournament and PINK Party our biggest annual events, as well as many other events we hold throughout the year.

The tournament, held in September, open to various youth aged fast pitch softball teams, with approximately 1300+ players in total from the Delaware Valley & Tri-State Area, aims to generate monetary support as well as local community Breast Cancer Awareness while progressing the sport of softball. In the first seventeen years, the tournament has raised and donated over $1 MILLION for the Susan G. Komen Central & South NJ affiliate and the YMCA Princeton Breast Cancer Resource Center as well as a new benefactor this year, Unite for Her. For 2025, the tournament fundraising goal is to exceed $50,000 in donations. The youth portion of the tournament will be a one day, three game guarantee format with a minimum donation requirement per team of $250. Teams are encouraged to fundraise additional donations beyond the required entry fee using softball skill drills or events to continue to improve their own individual and team achievements. Teams in each age group (8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U) will be awarded prizes for Top Fundraising Team.

In an effort to keep tournament costs at a minimum, umpires, local vendors, sponsors and community members are being asked to donate services, goods and volunteer efforts to help to raise funds for and to help support Breast Cancer Research and Awareness.

Our PINK Party, held in October, is open to adults 21+ to attend for a night of dancing, food, fun and raffles.

I write to you today to respectfully ask that you consider JOINING as a 2025 PINK Ribbon Softball, Inc. sponsor by donating either a monetary donation, a gift card, a gift basket of merchandise for a raffle, or donating "swag" items that we can put into our 1300+ player gift bags, (we are currently looking for a sponsor to obtain 1500 items such as- bandaid holders, frisbees, pens & pads, keychains, chapstick, eye black, balls, stuffed animals or any promo items). Your generous sponsorship helps to boost the monetary donation we are able to provide to our tournament beneficiaries. Donation/Sponsorship checks, gift cards and/or tickets** should be mailed to Pink Ribbon Softball, Inc., PO Box 3189, Mercerville, NJ 08619 and be received by July 1, 2025. After July 1, 2025, we can still accept monetary donations/sponsorship, gift cards and/or tickets, consumer items and/or promotional items for our player bags or raffles to be held at each event, however, you may not be listed on the tournament t-shirt or banner if you achieve that sponsorship level, however, you may still be recognized on our website and social media accounts based on donation levels.
