Description

Margarita Mixoff & More is our annual fundraising event where local restaurants and vendors prepare specialty margarita samples in a friendly competition to win the title of “Best in the West” Margarita,” and “Best Appetizer,” which is selected by attendees in the "People's Choice" voting. This has become a very popular community event!  We are also inviting a couple of beer and wine vendors and a variety of food vendors to round out the margarita participants for the event.

We are requesting your donation of goods or services for use in our Silent Auction & Raffle at our 21st Annual Margarita Mixoff & More, to be held Thursday, September 21, 2023, at The Gardens at Los Robles Greens, 299 S. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks, CA 91361.

Your contribution of goods or services would be greatly appreciated and would definitely help us to achieve our goal to help others through our Award Programs.  Please fill out the attached form for our records so that we may give your business the recognition it deserves.

The proceeds from our fundraiser will support our Soroptimist Dream Programs and our Service Awards Program:

  • The Soroptimist Live Your Dream: Education & Training Awards for Women provides cash grants for head-of-household women seeking to improve their lives with the help of education or training.
  • The Dream It Be It: Career Support for Girls provides girls with tangible strategies to accomplish their career goals. Both Dream programs assist women and girls by empowering them through education.
  • Our Service Awards provide cash grants to local charities with programs that support and benefit women and girls in areas of health, job skills training, domestic violence prevention, and the prevention of human trafficking.

Thank you for considering our request. We hope that you will find our event worthy of your participation and donation.   Your gift is tax deductible. Soroptimist International of Conejo Valley is an international non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Our Tax ID # is 25-1913790.
