Description

ThyCa: Thyroid Cancer Survivors' Association, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization (tax ID #52-2169434) of thyroid cancer survivors, family members, and health care professionals. We are dedicated to support, education, and communication for thyroid cancer survivors, their families and friends. We also sponsor Thyroid Cancer Awareness Month, year-round awareness activities, and thyroid cancer research fundraising and research grants.

The 21th Annual International Thyroid Cancer Survivors’ Conference, sponsored by ThyCa: Thyroid Cancer Survivors’ Association, Inc., will be held October 19-21st, 2018 in Chicago, Illinois. The conference includes a fundraising dinner and silent auction, which is our largest fundraising event. It also includes a live auction and many raffles.

Funds from this function are awarded to research grants to find a cure for all thyroid cancers as well as to support and educate those whose life has been touched by thyroid cancer: people being tested; those newly diagnosed; long-term survivors; individuals with advanced disease; caregivers; family and friends. Your donation would bring in hundreds of dollars during our live auction for our cause.

The annual conference offers the latest research, advances in treatment and follow-up, issues for survivors and caregivers, and coping skills for well-being. This year, attendance is expected to exceed 500 and will include participants from nearly every state and a few foreign countries.
