Wolfeboro Nursery School (WNS) has been a beloved institution in our community for over 65 years. What started decades ago, as a small cooperative nursery school has grown over the years into a well respected, sought after preschool, helping prepare local children for kindergarten and beyond. 

We are currently planning our 2020 main fundraising event and would love your help! Our Annual Father Daughter Dance (a festive evening out for girls aged preschool - sixth grade and the special gentlemen in their lives) is set for June 6th at the Inn on Main in Wolfeboro.

As the one of the last traditional, non-profit preschools left in Wolfeboro, WNS strives to keep tuition affordable for all families, therefore it is set at a lower amount than what it actually costs to educate each child. As a result, we are tasked with bridging this gap between our school’s operating costs and tuition income. With your support, we can we can uphold our mission of offering quality play-based education for both current and future students. 

We also strive to maintain a successful tuition assistance program. We believe all children in our community should be given the same opportunity to benefit from the education WNS provides, not based on their family’s ability to pay. Over the past three years alone, we were able to provide tuition assistance to over 20 children that otherwise wouldn’t have been able to attend. 

This annual event, now celebrating it’s 22nd year, is a much loved tradition in our community (we completely sold out for the past two years with 200 dads and daughters in attendance!) In addition to the silent auction, there is a pick-a-prize penny auction for the girls, dinner, dessert bar, photo booth, music and dancing.
