This is the East Texas Crisis Center’s 30th year of providing services in Henderson County. The Wine & Cheese Gala is our main fundraiser of the year. All proceeds from this event goes towards assisting victims of family violence and sexual assault. We have offices in 5 East Texas counties, we also collaborate with other Crisis Centers nationwide when a victim is in need of relocating. We have a lot of upstanding businesses and citizens that will be attending this event. We look forward to an evening of socializing, great food, wine & cheese tasting. We are creating baskets and accepting baskets full of products for our live & silent auctions. We will have an auctioneer, a Master of Ceremony, and a D.J. We present awards to individuals that has went above the call to assist us with victims. Our team works with survivors in reducing the impact of trauma, helping to heal women and their children who have experienced abuse by providing imperative support of emotional and physical needs, increasing stability in their lives, and developing an understanding of how to rebuild their life. Our services includes: Face to Face Crisis Intervention, Safety Planning, Shelter, Relocation, Victim Assistance, Legal Advocacy, Crime Victim’s Compensation, Transportation, Peer Support Groups, Family Violence and Sexual Assault Counseling. All services are in both English and Spanish at no cost to the victims or their families. Your Business will be advertised as a sponsor on our Facebook page, web site, in the Wine & Cheese brochure that is placed on each of the guest’s table, and on a Power Point that will be running throughout the event. Your information will also be with your merchandise.
