Description
Evening of Aloha is our largest fundraising activity of the year, raising funds for the organization’s educational programming and historic preservation efforts about the segregated Japanese American soldiers’ unit of World War II (the 442nd RCT), the most highly decorated unit for its size and length of service in the history of U.S. military. Evening of Aloha consists of a reception, silent auction, dinner and dinner program. Celebrity chefs, Roy Yamaguchi, Founding Chef & Owner of Roy’s Restaurant Worldwide, and Jeremy Choo, Innovation Pastry Chef at King’s Hawaiian Bakery and Restaurant, create the evening’s three-course meal. The goal of the event is to raise $500,000 to support our educational initiatives.
