My family is currently organizing the 23rd Annual “Marshalls for Misericordia” Golf Outing, which will benefit the local Chicago charity, Misericordia Home. Over the past twenty-two years, we have raised over one million dollars for Misericordia through this event!

Misericordia is much more than a place to live for more than 600 residents with special needs; it is their life, their jobs, their friends, part of their family. These recent years have been especially difficult for the residents of Misericordia. The funds that Misericordia receives from the State cover only a portion of program expenses. Misericordia must raise over 15 million dollars annually to cover opportunities they choose to provide - therapeutic, vocational, recreational, and spiritual programs developed to meet each person’s specific needs. This golf outing is one way my family assists Misericordia in raising money to help offset the rising operational costs and decreasing governmental support.

All profits from our event are donated directly to Misericordia, to support the special programs that enrich the lives of the residents.
