Through our Community Center, Church, Supportive and Survivor Housing, and Wellness Clinic, Open Door creates a place where every person can live, thrive, and belong. For 25 years, Open Door has provided a loving community of support for some of Lubbock’s most vulnerable neighbors. Our programs meet the ongoing and long-term spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of our neighbors experiencing poverty, homelessness, and sex trafficking.

●      Open Door Community Center is open six days a week and provides daily classes, shower and restroom facilities, phone & mail service, and secure locker storage for 150 people a week. A warm breakfast and coffee is available every morning to all that walk through our doors.

●      Open Door Church is a diverse, non-denominational congregation where all people are welcome as they are.

●      Open Door Supportive Housing prioritizes chronically homeless adults with the highest need and provides comprehensive supportive services to help residents gain stability and remain in housing long term. Open Door currently has 80 people in Supportive Housing, ending more than 400 collective years of homelessness.

●      Open Door Survivor Housing is a transitional housing program serving adult survivors of sex trafficking and their children. Survivors and their children receive housing for up to 18 months with wrap-around supportive services, including counseling, child-care, transportation, and life skills training. Survivor Housing is a regional project serving 15 West Texas counties. Open Door currently has 32 women and children in Survivor Housing.

●      Open Door Wellness Clinic currently provides preventative and holistic medical and mental health care for residents in our supportive housing program.
