Bottomless Closet’s mission is to be the connection that inspires and guides disadvantaged New York City women to enter the workforce and achieve success. From our grassroots beginnings, we have grown into an organization that has served nearly 50,000 women in need, amassed over 100 dedicated volunteers and roughly 200 referral partners, and has had over 1,600 workshop attendees just last year.  As we look to the future, our founding principles of helping and empowering women in need still guide our daily work.

Demand for Bottomless Closet services is up 50% over last year, as more women in need are ready to re-enter the workforce. As we work tirelessly to provide each woman who comes through our doors with professional attire, resume help, interview prep and more, the need is greater than ever. It’s also the intangibles we give them – confidence, self-esteem, and hope – that make all the difference to ensure our clients are seen as empowered job candidates.

Our luncheon continues to be one of the most inspiring afternoons in New York City. The Spring Luncheon is our largest fundraiser of the year and critical to our ability to keep delivering life changing outcomes to women across New York City.
