Each year in February, St. Charles Borromeo community has a night to remember, Mardi Gras! This
year, we are embarking on an even bigger anniversary celebration, as it is our 25
th Annual Mardi Gras Auction which will be held the first weekend in February 2024. This benefit auction is a major source of funding for the parish school, which reopened in 1998, and currently has 177 students from preschool through the eighth
grade. Through the generosity of parishioners, alumni, and other members of our community, we have raised
over $975,000 through this fundraiser over the past twenty-four years, which has helped our school to be a
beacon of faith and a leader in education in Coldwater!
The proceeds from this event will assist us in continuing to provide the very best Catholic education
possible for our students here in Branch County! The event includes an assortment of live auction packages as
well as numerous silent auction tables, a variety of raffles and games, door prizes, and lots of fun for adults of
all ages. Our special Mardi Gras food and drink menus provide the perfect pairing for a social event of the
year.
