SOS Children’s Villages Florida is a 501(c)(3) organization providing residential care to 72 foster children in a family-oriented community setting in Coconut Creek, Florida, as well as transitional care to over 100 young adults moving from foster care to independent living. We are at the forefront of South Florida organizations doing the good work of creating promising futures for our youth with the focus of keeping siblings together while they are in foster care.

At one of the most difficult times in their young lives, our Village offers a safe and supportive environment for our community’s foster children in 13 single-family homes with full-time foster parents in a residential neighborhood. In addition to safety, security, and stability, we are committed to providing vital support services for our children, to help them deal with their emotions, deficiencies in school, social skills, and behavior. The SOS on-site programs include mental health counseling, medical services, a behavioral modification program in each home, entertaining activities, tutoring, a mentoring program, independent life skills classes, and Next Steps services for youth who have aged out of foster care.

On Thursday, August 25, 2022 we will celebration our CEO Jillian Smath's 25 years with SOS Children's Villages Florida.
