PCA leads a coordinated response of healing, justice and prevention for children and families impacted by sexual abuse, exploitation, and violence. Responding to thousands of allegations each year, PCA is the only agency equipped to coordinate the investigation, treatment and prosecution of these cases. They also provide critical resources for prevention throughout the city of Philadelphia. PCA provides all of these services at no cost to victims, their families, and their communities

Our organization’s 25th annual Bear Affair, held on May 1st, 2025, at the National Constitution Center, will bring together over 400 members of our multidisciplinary team, corporate sponsors, and the community to raise critical funds for these children and families. Our event gets the name “Bear Affair” from our organizations pledge to give a brand-new stuffed animal to every child who comes through our doors, to give a bit of comfort during a very stressful time.
