The Clearfield County Area Agency Aging, Inc.’s auxiliary “Friends of the Area Agency on Aging” is preparing for the 27th Annual Anne S. Thacik Charity Auction.  The Auction will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022.  We will be holding the Auction Live at the Copper Cork Event Center, and we are asking for your support to benefit local seniors. This year, the theme is “45th Anniversary Celebration” (of the Agency).

It is our hope that you will consider donating a generous item to help us raise these much-needed funds.  Donations such as gift items plus unique opportunities for experiences are very sought after and raise a substantial amount of funds at the auction.  I have included an idea sheet for auction gift donations.  Donated items can be accepted at any time.

Description of our Agency & 501c3 information:  Our Agency, established in 1977, is a private, non-profit 501©(3) charitable corporation with EIN # 25-1336855 and all gifts are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.  We are dedicated to providing a comprehensive array of the highest quality health and human services to residents in this area.

Purpose of Fundraiser:  For more than 40 years the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging, Inc. has been committed to enhancing the quality of life for older residents throughout Clearfield County.  As our population continues to grow, especially those 85 years and older, we will continue to plan and position our agency to be prepared to meet their present and future needs. The agency offers a wide variety of services including:  delivering over 500 hot meals daily to frail elders in our very rural service area, providing navigation services to caregivers who are in need to help understanding the long term care continuum, transition services for individuals discharged from the hospital to those discharged from a nursing home, caregiver support to creating person centered plans for our consumers, medication reconciliation services to medical nutrition therapy, transportation; and now to affordable housing options, including elder cottages to shared homes.
