Dear Donations Committee:

The University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital is seeking your support for our 27th Annual Golf Classic.  A major source of the over $128,000 we raised last year was from our silent auction and the sale of raffle tickets.  We are requesting donations of goods or services to make this year’s raffle an even bigger success!  Popular past auction items and raffle prizes have included:

Sporting Event Tickets/Memorabilia

Small Electronics (music, DVD Players, iPod, iPad, etc.)

Golf Equipment

Gift Certificates/Gift Cards

The more auction items we can offer our golfers, the more funds we can raise for the children and families facing serious illness at Comer Children’s Hospital.

We will acknowledge your generosity by posting a card in each golf cart enumerating the prizes and contributors, and each contributor will be acknowledged again when the prize is handed to the winner.

Our doctors, our patients and their families immensely appreciate your sponsorship of this worthy cause.  It’s going to be a great day, a lot of fun, and beneficial to our children’s hospital.

Comer Children’s Hospital is a wonderful facility treating children on the south side of Chicago and surrounding communities.  We tend to get lost in the mix of Lurie Children’s and St. Jude’s Medical Center.  Miracles happen at Comer every day.  We are trying very hard to raise as much money as possible to benefit all children being served by our facility and we need your help.
