The CDF feels that it is imperative to help students to fulfill their dreams of obtaining a college degree. Our annual scholarship benefit has played an important role by reaching out to students who need financial assistance to attend college. I can remember the financial challenges that I faced while I was attending college and how the scholarships that I received helped to relieve my financial burden. I have made a commitment for the past 26 years to support students that have faced financial challenges, just like me.

We are excited to announce that the 27th Annual Educational Taste of Excellence: Wine tasting, Spirits, and Jazz Scholarship Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. It will be sponsored by Bank of Nevada, Caesars Entertainment, MGM Resorts International, CDW, Johnson Brothers Liquor Company and Breakthru Beverage. An estimated 1,000 people will be in attendance.

The event will showcase over 100 varieties of imported and domestic wines; and will include a variety of spirits. Local chefs will be featuring their culinary cuisines. Tickets are $70 in advance and $80 at the door and will include:  a champagne toast; a fabulous silent and live auction, and live jazz. Evening attire.

We are seeking a donation from Las Vegas local businesses to be included in our silent auction. As a community partner, you will be listed in our program booklet, receive complimentary tickets to attend the event, and have marketing exposure in our mobile bidding site.
