CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates; we speak up for children who have experienced abuse or neglect by empowering our community to volunteer as advocates for them in the court system and in the community. When the state steps in to protect a child’s safety, a judge appoints a CASA volunteer to make recommendations in the child’s best interest. On February 5, 2022, we are hosting the annual CASAblanca Gala at the JW Marriott Austin. 

This event brings together nearly 1,000 of Austin’s most generous people to hear the powerful stories of children who have experienced abuse or neglect and the CASA volunteers who advocate for them. This year our goal is to raise $1.4 million providing 700 children in Travis County CASA volunteers.
