On September 20, 2022, two of our members, Ben and Max Morrissey who are siblings working at the Toledo BP Refinery were injured on the job in an explosion at the refinery and early on the morning of September 21st they succumbed to those injuries. Max left behind his wife and 2 boys (4 & 2), Ben left behind his wife, 2-year-old son and an unborn child. To help honor the legacy of Ben & Max Morrissey and to thank our community for all the support they showed the Morrissey families during their time of need. We have created the USW 1-346 Charity Fund to help assist families, youth organizations, and community organizations in need of assistance. The Ben & Max Morrissey Memorial Golf Tournament is a two-day tournament named in the memory of our two brothers that were killed at work and is our main fundraiser for or community outreach program. We are asking for items such as gift cards that can be used in a silent auction.
