Description

H.C. Johnson Elementary School PTO’s 2nd Annual Bingo Night and Gift Auction will be Friday, October 17, 2025 at AMVETS, Post 2 in Jackson, NJ. With the recent district redistricting and continued decrease in state funding, our Title I’s school PTO must raise money for basics like class trips, assemblies, supplies, and safety equipment.

At last year’s inaugural event, we sold out of all 224 tickets within two weeks and raised over $10,000.00 for our school. This was life-changing money for our PTO. We were able to raise the amount of money for class trips and sent our kids to exciting places, like Out of Sight Alpacas and the Great Adventure Safari.

We funded t-shirts for every student and staff member, and were once again able to provide stipends to our teachers for new classroom books. This year, we are excited to expand on what we started with sending our kids on even better trips, more free events and assemblies, and beginning a fund for an inclusive playground on the site of the school’s former trailers.
