Greetings YMCA Supporter,

Every year the Kankakee Area YMCA host hundreds of participants of all ages in
numerous athletic activities . As our mission states , we aim to build programs that build
healthy spirit, mind & body for all. We strive to provide programs for all within the
community at affordable rates as well as offering scholarships for those in need, all while
promoting you th development & healthy living . Children participating on a sports team not
only gain knowledge and skills of the game, but also the concept of teamwork,
sportsmanship and discipline, as well as many other important life lessons!

On May 10 th , 2025 we will be hosting our second annual Sports Department golf
outing at Oak Spring s Golf Club in St. Anne, IL. This outing will act as a fundraiser for our
2025 Sports Campaign, which is designed to help us provide up to date equipment for our
participants, afford quality uniforms, hire ex perienced instructors and give scholarships for
those in need of assistance!
With that being said, we cannot reach the heights we hope to achieve alone. We are
requesting donations to help us support this event to raise funds for our Sports Campaign
to support our athletic activities here at the YMCA. Our hope is that with your help we can
m ake this event a success and raise the funds we need to continue to outreach and expand
our impact within the community and those surrounding! As a nonprofit organization all
donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
