Description

Greetings,

The Ike Fund, Inc. is a current and valid 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in accordance with the standards and  regulations of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) that assists grieving families and gives back to the area by annually providing three (3) high school seniors with a one-time award.

I am Cari Beauchamp, the mother of Ike. In June of 2021, we lost our 8-year-old, Ike, in a tragic accident. Ike did not know a stranger and was a very intelligent and witty young man with manners that would make any momma swoon. His internal dictionary was almost as big as his heart and his zest for life was contagious just  like his laugh. Losing Ike, left us lost and full of questions. One of the biggest questions being “How do we keep living?”.

We knew the only way we were going to continue to keep our candle burning was to keep Ike’s Legacy alive and help other people who are also posed with the same emptiness. The Ike Fund, Inc. is our vehicle to help fellow grievers.

We have been blessed with a piece of property that holds magazine worthy views. Soon, we will begin erecting  Ike’s Cabin that overlooks a fishing pond surrounded by wildlife. Our goal is for the cabin to be made just like Ike and that our fellow grievers will be filled with light and hope and an understanding of their grief.  The idea began after several of our friends recommended family grief camps, grief retreats, group counceling, etc. We heavily explored the option and the places we found that fit our family were booked up for months and were several hundred miles away. We decided that the Texas Panhandle would be a centrally located and peaceful option. Our ultimate goal is for Ike's Cabin to be a renowned grief escape in the United States.

On behalf of the Ike Fund, Inc and its board, I would like to express our infinite gratitude for your consideration.

With appreciation,

Cari Beauchamp
