We help families that have dogs that are sick or disabled by paying for their medications, therapy and any sort of on-going care that will prevent families from giving up on their dog.  We have had a lot of requests for assistance in this past year, and are hoping to raise as much money as possible for families in 2024.  We are trying to prevent as many dogs from being euthanized for a perfectly treatable condition such as diabetes just because the family can't afford the insulin.

When I started this charity 2 years ago now, I wanted to make a difference for local shelters & rescues.  Too many animals are being dropped off to shelters due to the necessary unforeseen costs associated with a medical diagnosis or disability.  The last thing I wanted was to continue seeing individuals chose to euthanize these animals or overcrowd the shelters because they can't afford to put food on the table for their families.  When my 3-year-old dog Flair passed away three years ago from Addison's disease, I decided outside my normal job of being a tax manager; I wanted to create something to pass onto my kids one day that will hopefully become a Buffalo staple and a national brand.

The most current fundraiser is a meat raffle fundraiser, which is very popular in the Buffalo, NY area.  The event is as simple as buying an entry ticket for $10 and then every round different types of meat are awarded to individuals with winning ticket numbers.  We also hope to provide basket raffles as well as corporate sponsors for the event.  Last year, we had 300 attendees.  This year we are expecting closer to 400.  Anything you might be able to provide to us is more than appreciated.  Thank you so much!
