No Longer Fatherless is hosting our 2nd Annual Gala. As a part of our fundraising strategy for the gala, we are organizing a silent auction. Each contribution for the silent auction will be advertised to guests, bid on, and the winning bid will be donated to No Longer Fatherless. Funds from the gala will be used to expand our reach, recruit mentors, new mentor training classes, monthly group events & life skill classes, and much more!

No Longer Fatherless exists to recruit, train, and match mentors with boys who are growing up without a father figure within Volusia & Flagler counties in Florida. Growing up fatherless can lead to many ugly statistics involving youth runaways, suicide, school dropouts, fighting, drug use, and more. Mentoring can help turn those statistics into victories!

No Longer Fatherless has three main programs: 1 to 1 weekly relational mentoring, group events, and life skill classes.

Weekly relational mentoring is designed to build trust, become a role model, and speak into the lives of these young men. This is our main program and is where most of the positive impact happens. These young men typically have zero male role models in their lives. Now, they have a mentor who is there for them, encourages them, helps them, has fun with them, and can help them through any obstacle they face. It is life changing.

Group events are designed to give our mentors and boys a great experience. Group events we have hosted include going to NFL games, NBA games, having cookouts, bon fires, kayak day, beach day, sports day, and much more.

Life skill classes are designed to teach these young men something valuable that they can use at home with the hope that this new skill can turn into a passion, hobby, or even a career.

Both the group events and life skill classes have become a tremendous opportunity for our mentors to build relationships with other mentors, the boys to meet other boys in the program, and for all the families involved to fellowship with each other.
