Description

The Richmond Book Festival is presented by John B. Cary Elementary and promotes literacy and community in the Greater Richmond area. This fundraising event aligns with the school's mission statement of College and/or Career Readiness with No Exceptions, by presenting fun and educational programming around how we can close the literacy gaps in our schools and society.

The ultimate goal of the Book Festival is to get books into the hands of Cary students and community members of all ages as well as raise funds to provide financial support for SMART classrooms technology upgrades, sustainability programming, as well as, after school and summer academic enrichment programs for our scholars.

We are seeking donations for items to feature in a silent auction to be held during the event.
